Moonlight Desires II

it was nice to have a day off today. after all the errands were done i was unfortunately left to my own devices. and what does that mean? spending a bit of time wishing and wanting for so many nice things.

mmmm... a milkshake of potential mix and matches!
1)that lovely dress is from Etsy...from the NikitaJade shop ...what a vintage dream!
2)i would wear that dress to the Safari Motor Inn in Burbank California in order to escape this cold winter weather... imagine that econo-vacation deliciousness, my eyes are hurting from all of the fluorescent lighting. coincidentally they filmed parts of the movie True Romance (1999) there which is why i would love to pay it a visit.
3)i have recently fallen in love with Nine West again. i bought a pair of heels from there a few weeks ago and am dying for the snow to melt so that i can traipse around in them. look at these yummy little gladiator heels which are only about 92 dollars.... i wonder who is designing for them... have they received some sort of revamp or what? these are from Zappo's.
4)i have a mild addiction to baby oil and can't keep enough of it stocked up in the house (Johnson and Johnson's is the best). i need and want it all of the time.
5) i can't keep repeating how much i'm loving Kenneth Jay Lane and all of his gorgeous jewellery. i found this one on the Bloomingdale's site.
6) and finally a deerskin tobacco pouch for me please. native american items are often so beautifully crafted. this one looks as soft as my skin! its from another Etsy shop called Madejust4u

p.s. i can't wait for spring

We've Got an Art Plot

so i was recently asked to check out this site called MyArtPlot. so i did. here is what it's all about. MyArtPlot, MAP (short) is a web page that identifies itself as a global community for artists, artisans, and craftspeople. when you first go on the page you find a few compartmentalized sections. the main item that you can delve into is the shopping section, as most other sections may not be accessible if you don't have a user login. well, online shopping is what i can do with a quick eye so that was my focus. upon first glance, you'll notice that this website must be fairly new (i couldn't find its birthday when searching) because it doesn't have the quantity of selection that maybe already unmentioned auction/community based selling sites have, but that will probably be only a temporary issue. most of the items were more esotericly based and less commercial. the main sections were Arts and of course...Crafts. there were alot of interesting items in both categories. anyway, what makes this website different from the other unmentioned buying community-based websites? well, this part i like the most, they let you review/critique items posted by members and these don't include whether the person shipped the item on time. here's a little taste of what you can find online. The first one is a necklace by artist Tilly Bloom.

Ain't No Thing But a Ring

I was looking through my jewellery box searching for new things to wear. in general i keep things on my neck, wrist, and finger on a minimum. only because i don't want to get a whole bunch of junk jewellery, i'd rather have some nicer things. but costume jewellery is also good. i've found a half way point. me likes Kenneth Jay Lane ALOT and i can't figure out which one i love the most. MaxandChloe has a really good selection which makes it even more difficult to choose. may the best ring win.
