Before I Eat, a little Glimpse into NY Fashion Week

The last thing it want to think about right now is winter-ness. the huge snowfall of friday made me realize that spring isn't actually here. a couple of groundhogs confirmed this. so did the shows at ny fashion week. the fall/winter collections have so far shown us the dark colours that will dominate the following year. i've noticed most of the shows featured multi-contrasting fabrics, deep earthy colours (with some exceptions). so far, the garments that were shown by the Academy of Arts University impressed me the most. it was a show that did not exceed in fluidity, likely due to the fact that each model was wearing something from a different designer. the seams on a few of the garments appear a bit crude but nevertheless the items are quite creative. here's a little taste of the Academy collection before i go enjoy some yummy dim sum.
